As the owner, I never felt comfortable renting seats to my friends, so I always invited them to come with me for free or simply take the cards and go on their own. In addition to not profiting from the property, I ended up with the logistics work, the risk of loss associated with use, and the work of getting a replacement and the cost when they were lost (or stolen). Even when renting the seats, I still go with friends and family to Maracanã, and you can always find me there.
I started to acquire more seats, specifically for rental, and began to have demand above my capacity. Several friends, also owners, started asking me to rent their seats. At first, I did this occasionally for friends, but then I started receiving requests from people I didn´t know and began to accept becoming “partners.”
The partnership works with the seat owner contributing their property, the seats, and me contributing the work involved: marketing, rental (ticket sales), risk (of loss and theft of the card), logistics (delivering and receiving the cards back), and finance (receiving and paying the owners).
We have aligned interests, which is to rent the seats at a fair price.
If you are the owner of seats at Maracanã, please write to me or call me on WhatsApp/Tel: 21-96667-6876 and we will talk more about it.
If you work or are the owner of a travel agency, please contact me by whatsapp or phone. We have agreements with many travel agencies that acquire high quantities and constantly. Let´s get in contact!
Meeting point: Rua São Francisco Xavier 446, Shell gas station.
Subway: Get off at Maracanã Station. Those coming from the South Zone may need to change trains. Then walk
between 5 and 10 minutes to the gas station.
Taxi/Uber: With the address, Waze will take you straight to the gas station.
Car: Those coming by car can park at the gas station itself (they charge R$50) or on the surrounding streets in
paid garages/parking lots or with “car guards.” I advise against parking at UERJ because entering and exiting takes a long time.
In all cases, I recommend leaving well in advance, as traffic worsens on game days and some streets may be closed.
The rental (purchase of tickets) of reserved seats is done informally. Mutual trust is
essential.
This is because Maracanã does not issue individual tickets for games,
and entry is only possible with a Reserved Seat Card. This card is permanent.
How to rent (purchase tickets):
Contact us via WhatsApp: +55 21-96667-5876, confirm availability and price.
Then, within 2 hours, make a Pix payment to the same WhatsApp number (+55 21-96667-5876) and send the receipt.
Meeting Place:
At the Shell gas station at Rua São Francisco Xavier 446.
Be careful, as there is another Shell gas station on Rua São Francisco Xavier.
There is a convenience store with air conditioning, security, seating, and a wide variety
of food and drinks, and it is a 10-minute walk from Maracanã.
Meeting Time:
One and a half hours (1.5 hours) before each game.
I (or the person I designate) will leave with several people from there without fail one hour (1 hour)
before the game (this is important so we can enter calmly and without a long line). After we leave, there is no
way to meet up again and the event rental (ticket) is lost. It´s like arriving late to a play and
not being able to enter. The ticket price is NOT refundable. You will be accompanied to the Maracanã turnstile
and will enter through the revolving door. After entering, just go up the ramp (or in cases of priority, take the cart) and
choose the seat you prefer.
The Seats:
All seats are numbered by block (501 to 511, with Block 506 being the press box),
row (by letter, starting with A) and number. With the exception of international games, people do not normally
sit in their seats. You are free to choose where to sit.
Regular Customers:
After going to a few games together, I offer my friends (customers) who want to pick up and return their tickets up to 24 hours
after the event the option of doing so at the front desk of my building in Laranjeiras. In these cases, friends are responsible
for the tickets, and if they lose them or they are stolen, they must pay the cost of obtaining a duplicate as well as the value
of the events missed until the duplicate is obtained. Currently, in 2024, the cost is around R$200 and the
time is around 72 hours after the request is made.
Rental (purchase of tickets) of third-party seats:
Seats´ owners who want me to rent their captive seats must leave the
cards with me. Whenever I have a customer, I notify and confirm before finalizing the deal. All
commercial aspects, logistics of delivery and receipt of cards, financial matters, as well as the risk of loss and theft are
my responsibility. We split the sale price.
I continue to purchase seats at Maracanã Stadium.
The price depends on several factors, such as location (block, row);
number of seats together, and the market in general.
I have several seats for sale, both mine and my friends´:
Owners who want me to market their captive seats, advertise them here, and handle the sale can contact me on WhatsApp: 21-96667-5876. I will take care of everything, from advertising to delivery.
“Maracanã
Opened on June 16, 1950, the Jornalista Mário Filho Stadium, known as Maracanã, is known worldwide as the Temple
of Soccer. A second home for all Rio residents, it has a history that transcends the boundaries of Rio de Janeiro
and Brazil.
It has hosted two World Cup finals and the opening and closing ceremonies of the Olympic Games. It was blessed
by Pope John Paul II. It has been the stage for concerts by Frank Sinatra, Tina Turner, Kiss, and even Rock in Rio.
It has more than 70 years of stories to tell."

History of Reserved Seats:
To finance the construction of Maracanã, the stadium sold “Reserved Seats,” which used to be divided into two categories: “Cadeiras Cativas,” which were yellow and located on the upper level in the best place to watch games in the stadium (with the exception of the VIP box and the press box), and “Cadeiras Perpétuas,” which were blue and located on the lower level. During the Maracanã renovation for the Olympics and the World Cup, the “Cadeiras Cativas” and “Cadeiras Perpétuas” were grouped together on the upper level (with the owners of “Cadeiras Cativas” being entitled to the most central seats), and both were renamed simply “Cadeiras Cativas.” How to get to the Captive Seats The entrance to the Captive Seats is through Gate A, in front of the Maracanã subway station. It is the same gate as the boxes, Lower West, and Maracanã Mais. Location of Cadeiras Cativas Cadeiras Cativas are located in the middle of the stadium, in the upper part of the West Inferior section. All seats are covered with protection against rain and strong sun. Comfort of Cadeiras Cativas Cadeiras Cativas are the only place in Maracanã (with the exception of boxes and the press box) where you can watch the games seated. This means that everyone has excellent visibility, including children and shorter people. Management and ownership The use of reserved seats is managed by Suderj and they belong to their owners. There are a total of 4,968 seats, of which 1,414 have not been re-registered. The owner of a reserved seat can use the seat at any event at Maracanã, from games, which are certainly the most famous, to concerts (e.g., Christmas Party, Ivete Sangalo, Maroon 5, Paul McCartney), the Olympics, charity games (e.g., All-Star Game), and any other event for which regular tickets are sold. Permanent seats, as they are property, can be rented out for events or sold permanently to new owners.
